You are not a failure....

When I began my first business from home, I was a lot younger and unsure of where I wanted my business to go, other than I was sure I needed to make extra money, and the business was going to do that for me. I worked as hard as I could at that business, but it did not provide the income necessary for me to succeed. I was told by the person who brought me in that I did not work it hard enough and that I needed to work harder and I would reap the riches.

The trouble was I was advised the best way to jump start my business was to make a long list of friends and family and convince them my products were the best there were on the planet, and that the only way to really be successful was to work for yourself and this business opportunity was the ONLY way to make money fast.

I found that everyone I talked to did not agree. Many would purchase the product, but no one really wanted to be in business for themselves in my organization, let alone any organization. I took this as a sign that I was a failure to convince people and grow my business. Today I realize that I was not the failure- it was just I was talking to the wrong type of people. The problem was that I was talking to people who did not want to start a business, and I was trying to convince them to do something that they had no intention of ever doing.

This is the reason that I have started this blog. In the coming posts, I will try to relate how I became enlightened to a number of important facts, in hopes that I can help you realize that if you haven't been successful in MLM, you are not the failure, but the course you may have been pursuing probably is. To that end, I hope you will continue along with me.
